If bills already get into your accounting software another way, for example through a receipt scanning app, by emailing them in, or because your bookkeeper enters them, Buildxact can import those bills. You can then assign each one to a job and cost category, and turn it into a purchase order in Buildxact.
Bill importing is available for Xero and QuickBooks Online.
Note: Bill importing isn't supported for MYOB.
How it works
Connect your accounting software to Buildxact.
In your integration settings, turn on importing bills.
Go to Jobs > Imported Bills to see bills from the last 30 days.
For each bill, select the job (and category or item if needed), then create a purchase order, link it to an existing order, or ignore it if it isn't job related.
