Buildxact allows users to create draft Request for Quotes (RFQs) that users can add items to, or remove items from, at any stage up until the RFQ is finalized and emailed.

Adding items to draft RFQ

  1. Select item to add to draft RFQ.

  2. Click on 'Add to Existing Quote Request'.

  3. Enter in the name or number of the quote request that you want to add the item to.

  4. Select the quote request from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click on the 'Add' button.

  6. The item will now show this quote request badge.

Removing items from a draft RFQ

  1. Open your draft Quote Request. This can be done either by clicking on the 'Request for Quotes' tab within the Estimate, or by clicking on 'Request for Quotes' in the Menu on the left-hand side and selecting the draft quote you want to delete the item from.

  2. Click on the red 'Delete' button of the item you wish to delete.

  3. Click on 'Save Draft' to save changes to your Quote Request
