Review estimate suggestions
The Estimate Reviewer provides a checklist of items to review.
Suggestions may include:
Missing costs
Potential compliance requirements
Safety considerations
Materials or quantities to verify
Site-specific risks
Review each suggestion and decide whether it applies to your project.
Mark items as complete
Once you have reviewed a suggestion:
Open the suggestion.
Confirm whether it applies.
Select Complete when finished.
Completed items are moved into your completed list so you can track what has been reviewed.
Add missing costs
The Estimate Reviewer may identify items that have not been included in your estimate.
For example:
Waste management costs
Safety equipment
Additional materials
Labour requirements
Use these suggestions as prompts to check your estimate and add any missing items if required.
Use suggestions as a checklist
The Estimate Reviewer is designed to help you review your estimate, not replace your judgement.
Suggestions may include items that do not apply to every project.
For example:
A compliance requirement may depend on your location.
Safety requirements may vary depending on the work being completed.
Material recommendations may depend on the project type.
Review each item and decide whether it applies to your specific job.
When to use the Estimate Reviewer
It is recommended to run the Estimate Reviewer before sending your quote to the customer.
Using the reviewer as a final checklist can help you identify:
Forgotten costs
Potential risks
Missing information
Items requiring further investigation
