Buildxact’s live pricing feature integrates real-time prices into your estimates. This gives you access to continuously updated prices, keeping your estimates accurate. The following steps outline how the process works.

When you have included price items in your Estimate Costings (1) from one of your connected Catalogs (2), Buildxact will notify you when the price for that item has changed. A change to the price is indicated by the red exclamation point beside the catalog badge (3).

To update your price to the most recent figure, click on the Get latest prices button (4) in the bottom left-hand corner of your estimate costings screen.

After clicking on Get latest prices, you will see the previous (now outdated price) and the new (current price) displayed. To update your estimate costings to reflect the current price, make sure to toggle Yes and then click Update (5).

The updated amount for that item will now appear in your estimate costings and the red exclamation point is no longer visible.
