The Buildxact Onsite App allows you to invite people involved in your projects so they can access job information and contribute updates from site.

Invite people to the Onsite App
There are two ways to invite people to use the Buildxact Onsite App.
Invite from Buildxact
To invite someone from the Buildxact desktop application:
Open the relevant job.
Go to the Job Details tab.
Select Invite.
Choose the person from your contacts.
This method uses the contacts stored in your Buildxact account and sends the invitation via email.
Invite from the Onsite App
You can also invite people directly from the mobile app.
To invite someone:
Open the job in the Onsite App.
Select Invite Crew.
Select the person from your phone contacts.
This method requires access to your phone contacts because the invitation is sent via text message. Inviting from the app is useful when you are on site and need to quickly add someone without accessing the desktop version of Buildxact.
Choose the right access level
The access someone receives depends on whether they are a Buildxact account user or an invited crew member.
Buildxact account users
Users who are part of your main Buildxact account have broader access through the Onsite App. They can access information based on their existing Buildxact user permissions.
Invited crew members
Invited crew members only receive access to the jobs and information that have been shared with them. This allows you to give subcontractors, trades, or site workers access to the information they need without providing access to your entire Buildxact account.
Tips
Invite users from the Onsite App when you are already on site and need a quick way to add someone.
Use invited crew members when you only want someone to access a specific job.
Review what information has been shared with Onsite App users to ensure they only see the relevant project details.
