How do I use the daily log/site diary on Buildxact Onsite?

This article explains how to post, comment and upload images to the daily log/site diary on Buildxact Onsite.

The daily log/site diary feature within Buildxact Onsite lets you record daily events and activities in real time. Using daily log/site diary on your preferred mobile device means that you can collaborate and communicate more effectively with builders, site managers and sub-contractors.

The following steps outline how to view, post and comment within the daily log/site diary on Buildxact Onsite.

To view a post:

  1. Click on My Jobs

  2. Select a job

  3. Click on the Site Diary tab

4. From here you can:

  • view posts (they appear in reverse chronological order)

  • scroll up and down the thread

  • click on images to see in full-screen view

  • 'Like' images

  • comment on images

To add a post:

  1. Click on 'Add a post'

  2. Add a post description. You have the option to add/take a photo. (A post description is required to proceed)

  3. Review your post
    ​

  4. Click 'Post'

All crew members invited to the job can now view, like and comment on your daily log/site diary posts.

Note: posts can only be deleted from within the Buildxact web app.

  • Click the “settings cog” icon button

  • Click ‘Contact us’

  • Your native email app will open
