Note: This article is for email accounts hosted on a Microsoft Exchange server. This is different from an Office 365 email account. To learn how to connect an Office 365 email account, click here

Steps to connect your Microsoft Exchange email account

  • Log in to your Buildxact account

  • Navigate to the Integrations page and click 'Connect' under the 'Email' header

  • In the pop up box, select the Exchange option

  • Enter your email address, name, and password, then click Connect

In a lot of cases, this is the only information that is required, however we may not be able to connect to all Exchange hosted email accounts with just this information. If the connection isn't successful, you will need to enter your Exchange username and exchange server details.

Your Exchange username will generally take the form of '[email protected]', or 'DOMAIN\username'. Your Exchange server will generally take the form of ''.

If you are unsure of these details, please contact your IT administrator and they will be able to assist you in gathering this information.

Once connected, you'll need to configure your Email settings.
