How to load clients lists from elsewhere into Buildxact in bulk

Loading clients from Excel is a great way to grab contacts from your accounting system or email for example and load them into Buildxact

Please use the below link to access our template for loading clients, this will show you the right setup for your Excel sheet before loading it in.

Here are the steps required to load your contacts from Excel, we also have the steps lower down.

Steps to load

  1. Download the Excel import template from the help article.

  2. Add your client information to the template.

  3. Save and close the Excel file.

  4. In Clients, select Actions > Import from Excel.

  5. Select your Excel file.

  6. Check that the columns are matched correctly.

  7. Select Continue to review the import.

  8. Fix any errors if prompted.

  9. Select Import.

  10. Select Continue when the import is complete.
