Buildxact users may encounter issues where costs or totals do not calculate or display as expected. This guide provides troubleshooting steps to resolve these common problems.
Ensuring Accurate Totals in Recipes
If your recipe totals are not calculating, it is likely due to missing information in the estimate costings section. Follow these steps to ensure accurate totals:
Navigate to the recipe in question.
Scroll to the estimate costings section at the bottom of the recipe.
Verify that a quantity value has been entered. If the quantity is missing, the system will not calculate totals.
Enter the required quantity and check if the totals update correctly.
By ensuring that all required fields, especially the quantity, are filled in, you can resolve this issue.
Populating Costs for Items
If prices or costs are not showing on your items, it may be because the related purchase orders have not been received. Costs will only populate once the purchase orders are receipted. To address this:
Check the status of the related purchase order.
If the order has been sent but not received, proceed to receipt the order.
Once the order is marked as received, the costs should appear on the associated items.
This ensures that costs are accurately reflected in your Buildxact account.
